LIMPET SHELL

AKA: Pantone Color: MINT

The top 10 colors are officially here for Spring/Summer of 2016 and “Limpet Shell” aka: mint is leading the pack! This minty tone has been dominating the runways and is actually an amazing color choice for those hot summer days or warm spring nights. Today we choose a “Limpet Shell” dress by PRADA and I was totally shocked by the color and cut of this dress. It is NOT your typical over the top cool PRADA dress. With it’s full skirt, very feminine lines, the belt to cinch in the waist…. this lady like dress would be the perfect “afternoon tea” dress that could actually take you from day to night in a flash of a jewelry change. Green is not typically my color so I added in a white button down shirt under the dress to brighten and lighten my skin tones. Unless you have an olive complexion, green can be a very tough color to wear, but if you buffer with another color close to the face you will be in good shape. We kept it simple with no jewelry and just a pair of nude Valentino platform pumps. The nude shade helps elongate the legs making it a perfect color choice for our Limpet Shell dress by PRADA!

Big kisses and lots of Love,

Laura Dunn
