One of the hottest trends for 2019 is….. The Boiler Suit. This loose fitting, but easily cinched at the waist to give a sexier more flattering look, is truly an all-in-one wonder. The industrial and masculine one piece can go from feminine casual to up-scale chic with the change of shoes and accessories. Making it a simple and go to comfortable choice for day or evening.
Now here is the best part of this story…. One of my favorite things to do is find seriously fashionable items on the inexpensive and turn them into “Luxury for Less.” My black Boiler Suit came from Amazon…. Yes Kids… you heard me right! Amazon!! I paid $39.00 for it and knew that if I pimped it out with some expensive shoes and cool accessories I would have a home run! I paired my black Amazon Boiler Suit with a fabulous Gucci belt and a pair of Prada boots to give it that upscale look. Cherry on top? The choker which I saw for $1500.00 at a fabulously very well known department store…. came from Amazon as well. $14.99 can get you this choker… that I recently saw on Kyle Jenner.
On to the green. This Marc Jacobs Boiler Suit was considerably more than the $39.00 Amazon, but wanted to show that it’s not always the more expensive item that wins. I paired my Marc Jacobs Boiler Suit with a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers, a Dannijo choker and a pair of Ray Ban aviators. Moral of the story? As long as you add in the better pieces… you can get away with adding in our luxury for less items.
