There are some very strong trends for this coming Spring/Summer 2015 season. In the next two weeks, we are going to mix and match to see how many spring trends we can squeeze into one look. Today’s look? 4. Let’s get started……
1. Let’s start with the color….. Spot on for S/S15. “Khaki Green” was rocking the runway in so many forms…. from evening gowns to jeans… today we have it in our Michael Kors cashmere sweater and C&C California casual trousers.
2. Speaking of “Trousers”…. The baggy 80’s trouser of “closets past” are making a huge comeback. I think about the number of trousers I owned back in the day…… hahahahaha way too many!!
3. “The Block Heel Shoe” Our snakeskin Vero Cuoio block heeled shoes from Barneys New York, are spot on trend even though they were purchased over a year ago. The funny part is…. the fact that this shoe actually has 3 trends rolled into one. The block heel, the snakeskin and the side cage…. which Givenchy introduced 4 years ago.
4. Last but not least…. “Rose Gold” for spring is another hot color. The beauty of rose gold?It looks good on most every skin tone. The rose gold in the beautiful Mui Mui beaded necklace casts a beautiful glow on any face…..
